Snowy Prairie

The snow is finally melting! After weeks of freezing weather, we've had a few days in the 40s. There is a special kind of beauty in the patches of snow fading away. I took this picture at the nearby arboretum on East Campus:

    Your patch of snow picture looks so much nicer than my patch of snow picture!! :) Ours is just snow/mud!

    And in case you didn't get back to my blog I wanted to answer your question. Yes, that is our family sleigh. We also have a wagon that the horse team pulls in non snowy weather. We really enjoy the sleigh the most, though. :)
