We put on a DVD of Bob Ross painting "Days Gone By," one of his many paintings. What took him a half an hour took us more than six hours. We would play a few minutes of the program, hit pause and then try to recreate what he had done, using his signature two-inch brush, one-inch brush, fan brush, Script liner brush and palette knife.
Our friend Abi painting. "Let's give this tree a friend. Everyone needs a friend."
Monica mixing paint, getting ready to add some bushes that "live in her world."

Oh my goodness! I love these! You all did a fantastic job. You're making me want to go get some Bob Ross videos. I do remember the "happy little trees". :)
ReplyDeleteI used to love the 'Happy Painter'! You guys really did a great job. The paintings are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThose look awesome! You guys did a fantastic job. I will have to remember this activity for when my kids are older.
ReplyDeleteI knew we should have bought these! Maybe for Allison's birthday.

ReplyDeleteHAHAHA!!! You gotta' love Bob Ross! They did an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteThese turned out very nice. My dh used to turn on Bob Ross every afternoon when he wanted to take a nap. Bob's gentle voice would send Robert into lala land more quickly than anything. Kind of like Mr. Rogers in slo-mo....
ReplyDeleteThey are all great! So different though, very interesting how you all had your own concepts but the same picture.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
